Go

The classic board game Go. The objective is to surround a larger total area of the board with your stones than the opponent.

Place your piece on any junction of the board to commence the game. Take turns turns with your opponent, setting one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones completely to capture them from the board. Dominate more area than your opponent by the end of the game to win. Employ strategy to prevent your opponent's moves while increasing your own territory. Note that stones are fixed once placed, unless captured. Play concludes when both players pass their turns consecutively, indicating no more moves can advantage either side.
